A little about me...

My wedding planning journey began back in 2010 when I started an online course for Wedding Planning. I always knew I had a passion for arranging parties, events and held a slight obsession for weddings.

It was just my luck that I picked up my first wedding coordination job working with the team at Bayview Geographe Resort. Here I learnt so much more on the job than I ever could through my online course. However, I still managed to complete the degree and became a proud recipient of an Advance Diploma in Wedding Planning.

Following this after some months travelling through Europe; I moved out to the incredible Laurance Winery (Now known as Robert Oately Wines)! The stunning gardens and rustic style venue were such a spectacular place to work.

Then in 2017… I was my turn to get married!

It brought new perspective and allowed me to see all the stress’ that all my clients face.

My wedding day was everything I dreamt it would be. 3 years on it still brings butterflies, laughter, and tears when I think about that amazing day. What an experience and I would do it all again in a heartbeat, it was so much fun!

Shortly after this; an opportunity arose at the incredible Credaro Family Estate Winery. This venue is just a wow factor! This really gave me a great chance to get to know so many more of the amazing vendors from the south west. It was here where my dream of running my own business really came into the focus.

With my own business in mind, we felt that the timing was perfect to start a family. Then in March 2018 my son, Conor, was born! Here ‘relaxing’ (haha) on maternity leave was where The White Owl Collective started to take shape.

Originally, WOC was only going to be a hire & sale kind of business and I never really thought about running the planning & coordination myself. However, it was when working part-time with Ferguson Valley Events as a Wedding Coordinator that my experience really began to grow, and that I was more than capable to take this on as a ‘real’ part-time business.

Which brings us to now. Conor is two; we have a new bundle due in June, and I am thrilled to be able to say that I have a successful little business on my hands that I love. I have so many plans for this ‘real’ little business and super excited to see what the future holds.

To all my past clients!

Thank you so much for allowing me the pleasure of assisting you with your special day! I just LOVE seeing how it all comes together and how your faces light up when you finally get to see each other at either end of the aisle. I have such a special role and I am so honoured to have been able to share just a small part of your day.

To all my future clients!

Yew, the fun is just beginning. My aim is to take the pressure off you and allow you to enjoy your planning process. It should be fun and enjoyable, not stressful. I am thrilled to be able to help you create your dream day and look forward to seeing your gleaming faces at the end when you are finally married!
